Ancient Faith.
Local Roots.
Shared Journey.

The Northern Highlands Benefice brings together four close-knit Episcopal congregations—Grace in Rice Lake, St. Alban’s in Spooner, St. Luke’s in Springbrook, and Ascension in Hayward—into one shared ministry grounded in ancient faith and modern connection. Though each parish has its own story and spirit, we worship, serve, and grow together, sharing clergy, resources, and a deep love for our Northwoods communities. Rooted in tradition, we are walking a shared path toward renewal, hope, and grace in the everyday.

Our Clergy Team

The Northern Highlands Benefice is led by a dedicated clergy team who share their gifts across our four congregations. Together, they offer pastoral care, preach the Gospel, lead worship, and walk alongside us through life’s sacred rhythms — from baptisms to funerals, quiet prayers to festive feasts. In addition to those listed below, we have more wonderful clergy that come and support us long-term.
